This place was absolutely mind-blowing! The tranquil setting with jaw-dropping views of the sea made me feel like I was in paradise. The bed was super comfortable, and the host was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The location was perfect, with easy access to the coast road and nearby attractions. The spacious and clean room had everything I needed, including free wifi. Prepare your own breakfast, but everything was provided. The surrounding area was perfect for hiking, cycling, and horseback riding. Plus, they allowed pets! I couldn't have asked for a better stay.

The room at April House was amazing! It had everything I needed - a cozy seating area, a washing machine for my laundry, and a tea/coffee maker to satisfy my caffeine cravings. The private bathroom was a great plus, especially when some units had a refreshing shower. As someone who loves convenience and comfort, I couldn't ask for more!
Personally, I would have preferred a private bathroom with a shower in every unit. But hey, that's just my opinion.

The room had lovely furnishings and fittings, creating a cozy and romantic atmosphere. The peaceful and tranquil location allowed us to relax and enjoy our romantic escape. We appreciated the warm welcome and guidance from the friendly host.
Additionally, not having a TV in the room was a downside for us as we enjoy winding down with some entertainment in the evenings.

We loved the remote location and breathtaking views of the moors, Pentland Firth, and Orkney Islands. the clean and comfortable en suite room provided a peaceful and relaxing stay. the landlady's horses roaming freely added a charming touch. Free WiFi was a bonus. the close proximity to Dunnet Head and John o Groats made it convenient for our adventurous explorations.
Felt very homey, no complaints whatsoever.

we had a wonderful stay at the B&B. Rita, the host, was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. the en suite room was clean, comfortable, and had quality furnishings. the location in the quiet village of Barrock offered beautiful views of the moors and the Pentland Firth and Orkney Islands. We enjoyed exploring Dunnet Head, the most northerly point of the Scottish mainland, which was just a short drive away. Cons: All was 👌👍.

The value for money at April House was exceptional and the room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. The remote location and peaceful setting added to the charm, while still being conveniently close to popular attractions like Dunnet Head and Mey Castle. Rita, the host, was welcoming and attentive, making my stay truly enjoyable.
One small improvement for the breakfast option would be to include fresh fruit or fruit juice.
